About Us

1957, 7th Avenue was called “Farmer’s Road,” and Emerson Elementary was built for what was then a rural area of the district. As the community grew, so did the school building, with additions in 1961 and 1991. In February 2002 voters approved a bond for complete modernization of Emerson, and students entered their brand new school in 2006. Emerson is both beautiful and functional, and should give the community another 50 years as a learning home and community center.

SCHOOL HOURS:

• Regular Hours: 9:10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Tardy bell: 9:15 a.m.)
• Early Release: 1 p.m. dismissal
• Learning Improvement Friday: 2:15 p.m. dismissal
